Privacy policy
This policy explains what we do with your personal information when you contact us or instruct us. We are the data controller for the information you provide.
Information we collect
When you enquire, we collect what you send us: your name, your contact details, and the details of your matter. Because of what we do, that often includes copies of identity and civil documents.
We also collect limited technical information when you browse this site, such as device type and pages visited, to keep it secure and working.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, to carry out the work you instruct, to meet our legal obligations, and to keep proper records of what we did.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Legal basis
We process your information to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform that contract, to comply with legal obligations, and where it is in our legitimate interests to run the business responsibly.
Who we share it with
Only where the work requires it: notaries, translators, the FCDO Legalisation Office, embassies and consulates, and representatives acting for you abroad. Each receives the minimum needed to complete their step.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to complete your matter, and afterwards for the period our legal and record-keeping obligations require. Documents no longer needed are securely destroyed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to certain processing. Contact us and we will respond.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
